How Lunar and Solar Eclipses Shed Light on Biblical Events
In the closing days of his life, Herod the Great was presented with a crisis called the Golden Eagle Incident. Herod had placed a golden eagle over the entrance to the Temple. Although he professed that it was an offering dedicated to the Lord, it was regarded as a desecration of the Temple by two rabbis, Matthias and Judas, who provoked a group of more than 40 individuals into pulling down the eagle. Herod’s soldiers captured and executed many of the participants; Matthias and Judas were burned alive. After relating this sordid incident, Josephus comments that the night after Matthias and Judas were executed by burning, there was an eclipse of the moon (Antiquities 17.6.2-4/17.149-167).
This means there was a BLOOD Moon that night.
This is the only reference to a lunar eclipse in all the writings of Josephus. Perhaps a modern historian would not have mentioned it, judging that an astronomical event like an eclipse is independent of the activities of man, unless it preceded some important occasion such as a battle and so influenced a decision such as whether or not to go to war. In the ancient world, however, an eclipse was regarded as an omen or portent whenever it happened.

In the Antiquities passage, the eclipse and Herod’s torment signified the same thing: God’s solemn judgment on Herod after he put to death individuals more righteous than himself.

Interest Herod put a golden eagle on the temple the Jews worshiped in and an Ishtar-looking golden statue was placed upon the New York City Courthouse. It's that same spirit that wants to lift itself above Almighty God.
A golden eagle is placed upon a temple where worship occurs of God, an Ishtar-looking statue is placed atop the courthouse in NYC which is where the seat of the Judge is.
Because this foul ancient blasphemous spirit wants to be worshiped above God and desires to usurp the law!!

Another famous eclipse, this time of the sun, may have played a part in the account of Jonah and the Ninevites. The time of Jonah’s preaching in Nineveh can only be estimated very generally from the Bible. Second Kings 14:25 says that Jeroboam II, king of Israel, restored the northern and eastern borders of Israel according to the word of the Lord spoken by the prophet Jonah, son of Amittai. Jeroboam II began a coregency with his father Jehoash in 793/92 BC and reigned alone from 782/81 to late summer or early fall of 753 (Thiele 1983: 116; McFall 1991: 45; Young 2005: 245). Assuming that Jonah’s prophecy of restoration came early in the reign of Jeroboam, Jonah’s ministry would have been in the first half of the eighth century BC, i.e. from about 793 to 750 BC. During this time the Assyrian Eponym Canon records an eclipse of the sun that occurred in the eponym of Bur-Sagale, in the month of Simanu. Modern astronomical calculations date this eclipse to June 15, 763 BC (remember this date), and show it was a total eclipse as it passed near Nineveh. For historians, the importance of this eclipse is that it provided an absolute date that allowed assigning BC years to the yearly eponyms of the Assyrian Eponym Canon (AEC). The accuracy of the AEC dates was later confirmed when new inscriptions were found, and also when compared to the data derived from Ptolemy’s Canon for the century for which the Canon overlaps with the AEC, 747 to 648 BC (Thiele 1983: 71).

Hind published a paper in the British scientific journal Nature in which he noted that the “moon was eclipsed on the generally received date of the Crucifixion, AD 33, April 3.” Bible scholars paid little or no attention to this observation because the best astronomical calculations available at the time showed that the eclipse would not have been visible from Jerusalem. In the 20th century, however, there was a major advance in the accuracy of historical astronomical calculations, due largely to studies of the change of the earth’s rate of rotation over the centuries. Moonrise in Jerusalem on the evening of Friday, April 3 AD 33 was at about 6:20 p.m., right after sunset. The part of the moon that appeared first was in the full shadow (the umbra) of the earth. After several minutes, the remainder of the moon was seen; this lower part was in the partial shadow of the earth (the penumbra). The eclipse lasted until about 7:11 p.m., at which time the moon was restored to its usual brightness and coloration.
To Go back to the beginning of Genesis 7:11, Genesis 7 Noah is in the Ark! The Tebah, The covering that would take the beating so he would be covered.

The Gospel writers describe further disturbances. At about noon darkness overtook the land that lasted for three hours. We are not told whether it was caused by clouds or a dust storm. Then at approximately 3 p.m., when the Figure on the central cross died, there was an earthquake—something that we no longer associate with divine displeasure, but which must have had this significance for at least one individual, a Roman centurion who was stationed near the cross of Jesus. With more insight and acuity than possessed by many modern critics of the Gospel accounts, this soldier concluded that the righteous man who had just died was truly God’s Son.

Now from the sixth hour (noon), there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour (3:00 p.m.).
Genesis 7:11 Begins with the six hundredth year of Noah’s life.
In the sixth hour of Noah’s life, he entered the ark under God's command, and the ark and darkness came over the land because the ark began to take the beating of the flood and the heavy rain (which means the sun would have been covered by dark clouds) to protect Noah his family and creation, to redeem them from the wickedness that was in the earth.

Water prevails on earth 150 days, it takes another 150 days in Genesis 8 for the water to abate or recede.

The Year of Jubilee is the fiftieth year in a cycle of years (occurring after seven cycles of seven years each). The celebration of the jubilee years involved a time of sacred rest, liberation, and forgiveness.
The name comes from the instrument used to mark its launch. In this case, the instrument in question is the yobel, the ram's horn, used to proclaim the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). This (Jewish) holiday occurs every year, but it takes on special significance when it marks the beginning of a Jubilee year. We can find an early indication of it in the Bible: a Jubilee year was to be marked every 50 years since this would be an “extra” year, one which would happen every seven weeks of seven years, i.e., every 49 years (cf. Leviticus 25:8-13). Even though it wasn’t easy to organize, it was intended to be marked as a time to re-establish a proper relationship with God, with one another, and with all of creation, and involved the forgiveness of debts, the return of misappropriated land, and a fallow period for the fields.
The Lord is calling us to repentance, forgiveness, and liberation this year and we must answer that call as a nation for this to completely turn.
On the day of this Eclipse, I am calling for the blowing of the shofars!! Go outside your home across the land and sound the shofar!! I am calling for it, we need to do this as God’s people and I do not care who doesn’t like it. This is the Lord’s business we must be about right now!!

Also, the Eclipse is on April 8, 2024 on our calendar, the Gregorian Calendar. However, on the Jewish Calendar, it is the month of Nisan, Nisan 1 to be exact.
This is the beginning of the Ecclesiastical Calendar! So on the first day of the Ecclesiastical year, the eclipse is happening!
Also being this Eclipse actually passes by more than 8 cities named Nineveh the book of Jonah comes into play which we discussed in the last broadcast pertaining to the 2024 Eclipse.
In the book of Jonah, the numerical value for great fish is because Jonah was swallowed by a great fish because he ran the 1st time when the Lord asked him to go to Nineveh, The numerical value of great fish is 50, which is the jubilee!!
The letter nun in the Hebrew Alphabet means fish/seed.
Meaning of Nun: Deceit 2. kingship 3. fish 4. miscarriage 5. Miracle
So A deception by the Kings will bring a miscarriage that will trigger a miracle.

The Year of Jubilee is the fiftieth year in a cycle of years (occurring after seven cycles of seven years each). The celebration of the jubilee years involved a time of sacred rest, liberation, and forgiveness.
The name comes from the instrument used to mark its launch. In this case, the instrument in question is the yobel, the ram's horn, used to proclaim the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). This (Jewish) holiday occurs every year, but it takes on special significance when it marks the beginning of a Jubilee year. We can find an early indication of it in the Bible: a Jubilee year was to be marked every 50 years since this would be an “extra” year, one which would happen every seven weeks of seven years, i.e., every 49 years (cf. Leviticus 25:8-13). Even though it wasn’t easy to organize, it was intended to be marked as a time to re-establish a proper relationship with God, with one another, and with all of creation, and involved the forgiveness of debts, the return of misappropriated land, and a fallow period for the fields.
The Lord is calling us to repentance, forgiveness, and liberation this year and we must answer that call as a nation for this to completely turn.
On the day of this Eclipse, I am calling for the blowing of the shofars!! Go outside your home across the land and sound the shofar!! I am calling for it, we need to do this as God’s people and I do not care who doesn’t like it. This is the Lord’s business we must be about right now!!

Purim is a Jewish holiday that commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from annihilation at the hands of a high up official of King Ahasuerus named Haman. Events are recounted in the Book of Esther. Haman was the royal vizier to the Persian king Ahasuerus.
A vizier is a high official in some Muslim countries, especially in Turkey under Ottoman rule.
So This means we have a full Solar Eclipse Occurring this year between Purim and Passover, actually 14 days before the start of Passover, and a Blood Moon Occurring Purim 2025!!!
The last blood moon occurred on November 8, 2022, which was the midterm Elections, republicans took control of the House, and democrats took control of the Senate

Thank you for your service to the Lord. I have been listening since the beginning of Covid. And anticipating great and mighty things in the days ahead.
Thank you for your heart to get this out! This has awakened my mother and I even more to what is truly happening in this hour. I wanted to pop on here and I’m a bit late, but there is a lunar eclipse Monday March 25th called the Worm Moon and then a comet that will pass by on April 8th or around that time called the Devils Comet due to the gas and ice it produces that causes it to change its image and now it has what looks like horns. There are MANY signs that God is trying to show us. I found a 8 hour shofar video that we will be playing on April 8th! My mom and I started fasting today and we won’t end til the end of April.
