Prophetic Alert: The Time of Daniel and a Hostile Takeover

The Time of Daniel

Daniel 1:1-7
1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with some of the articles of [a]the house of God, which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the articles into the treasure house of his god. 3 Then the king instructed Ashpenaz, the master of his eunuchs, to bring some of the children of Israel and some of the king’s descendants and some of the nobles, 4 young men in whom there was no blemish, but good-looking, gifted in all wisdom, possessing knowledge and quick to understand, who had ability to serve in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the language and [b]literature of the Chaldeans. 5 And the king appointed for them a daily provision of the king’s delicacies and of the wine which he drank, and three years of training for them, so that at the end of that time they might serve before the king. 6 Now from among those of the sons of Judah were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. 7 To them the chief of the eunuchs gave names: he gave Daniel the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abed-Nego.

Shinar was the location of the Tower of Babel. Genesis 10:10 mentions that Nimrod, a descendant of Ham, built “Babylon, Uruk, Akkad and Kalneh, in Shinar.” A plain in Shinar was the site chosen to construct the notorious Tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1–4). As punishment for the people’s wickedness, God confused their language, and thus the land of Shinar earned the name of “Babel” or “Babylon” (Genesis 11:5–9). Babylon and Babylonia both derive their names from Babel, which means “confusion.” So Babylon at its core is confused and from confusion comes chaos many times.

After taking Jericho, the Israelites failed to conquer Ai because of sin in the camp (Joshua 7:10–12). Achan had stolen devoted items from Jericho, which the Lord had specifically commanded against (Joshua 6:18–19). Included in the plundered items was a finely crafted, beautiful robe from Shinar (Joshua 7:21). Because of Achan’s sin, about thirty-six people lost their lives during the failed attempt at taking Ai (Joshua 7:4–5) (got questions.org)

So Nebuchadnezzar takes articles from the House of God and brings them back to Shinar. Shinar is like ground zero for rebellion, for idolatry, for building towers to make a name for oneself.

The Babylonians were also known as the Chaldeans.

The word Dean is in Chaldean, like the Deans of these godless colleges who worship at the altars of wokeism, secular humanism, transgenderism, BLM, PLO, and others.

The Dean oversees such.

Marduk was the false god they worshiped and known as the dragon with a forked tongue, representations of which adorned his city’s walls.

Mark is in the word Marduk, dark is in the word Marduk.

Such as in the mark of the beast.

When it's dark you cannot see.

Babylon is referenced multiple times in Revelation because Genesis the beginning is connected to the end of Revelation. After all, the Lord is the beginning and the ending.
In ancient times when one nation conquered another they would strip the temple of the god of the conquered nation AND PUT IT IN THE HOUSE of their god to show their god was superior.

The Problem is Nebuchadnezzar's god Marduk did not give him the victory! God ALLOWED Nebuchadnezzar to overtake Jehoiakim and Judah. So at this point, Nebuchadnezzar is puffed up into believing his god is greater. This is a set up by God to humble Nebuchadnezzar.

Nebuchadnezzar wanted to weaken the identity of the nation of Judah. How he does this is he asks for the best,  the brightest, the most handsome young men from the royal family and the nobles to be educated to serve in his court. He does this in order to absorb that strength into Babylon, the best of Judah absorbed into Babylon making Babylon stronger off their gifts, talents, and abilities, while making Judah weaker.

So Nebuchadnezzar and Babylon wanted to swallow the identity of Judah and make them assimilate into their culture.

The Babylonians worshiped Marduk. They were highly superstitious and very into astrology.

Daniel was one of the ones taken in to be taught and educated to serve the king. He is paired with the exorcists, astrologers, and magicians. Daniel and his three friends who we know as Sharach, Misach, and Abednego were thrust into an occultic environment and made to operate in it.

They are thrust into a culture where they are intentionally indoctrinated and forcefully assimilated. They have nothing left from their own life except the fact they belong to God.
Everything else has been stripped away by Babylon.

We see this with Abraham, with Joseph, with Daniel that when God is in the process of forming a new identity in someone He moves much of the old out, he allows it to intentionally be stripped away.

Daniel and his friends go from having freedom in Judah back Into exile in Babylon to build in them a new identity. This can be a painful process, but a necessary one to build in them a new identity so they can rise to the positions and operate in the positions God has ordained for them.

It doesn't matter where God moves you, it matters more what He is doing in you.

Let’s apply this to the American culture we currently find ourselves in as believers.

Our identity in Christ is meant to transcend our American culture society and even our American church culture, regardless of who is the leader of this nation our identity through Christ should transcend that.

In this present day, we find ourselves living in an identity-swallowing culture, just as Daniel found himself in the identity-swallowing culture of Babylon.

There is a reason we see the gospel thriving and the church rapidly growing in countries where the gospel is outlawed. We are in this world but we are not of this world. Our citizenship is in Heaven. When wickedness, paganism, and idolatry attempt to swallow the gospel in these nations that outlaw such, the gospel has the power to enlighten and transform in a way these false religions do not.

Paul said Our identity in Christ needs to transcend culture and the current condition of the nation. Another way to say such is it needs to eclipse it.

When we head into environments that may not be favorable conditions toward Christians, we must remember we are called to be leaders and servants. God has called us to stand out because we belong to Him. His light in us is meant in dark areas to begin to drive away the darkness because God’s sacred order of time is that darkness must give way to the light. The greater the darkness the greater each little piece of light becomes, a small light can burst through and illuminate in the darkness and expose what is there, and drive it out.

Ask yourselves, with the condition of what is happening in the nation currently–How firm is my identity in Christ?

So Daniel and his friends moved from a society-affirming culture in Judah to a society-swallowing culture In Babylon.

In Daniel 1 vs. 8, we see the beginning of Daniel’s intentional decision to not defile himself but to only eat vegetables, however, this puts Daniel's and his friend's life in more danger and not less.

Daniel purposed in his heart not to defile themselves.

One very serious point in this is that the portions of the meat and the wine were being offered to and blessed by the name of Babylon's god Marduk. Therefore it would have been food sacrificed to idols.

Their resolve to do such was…..

Identity-based resolve Daniel behaved differently than even other Hebrews in Babylon. Not all Hebrews felt the way Daniel did. However, Daniel was set apart for service.

Their objection was based on their love and devotion to God and serving Him even in a hostile Babylonian environment.

Their decision was Faith-based, this decision could result in suffering but God could sustain them on what appears to be less than what everyone else is getting.

Their decision is based on the fear of God; they cared more about what God thought than the king and his captors thought. They had no power over their souls.

Proverbs 9:10 The [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] is the beginning and the preeminent part of wisdom [its starting point and its essence], And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding and spiritual insight.

Their decision was based upon humility and it was private. It was not announced to everyone else in the court what they were doing. Even in this environment, they have humility and respect for their earthly captors and consideration for the position their teacher would be put in.

Oswald Chambers if you fear God you fear nothing else if you do not fear God you fear everything else.

So what happens here is they are private in the beginning however later on this becomes very public.

This resolve they have in their faith in the Lord positions them for future influence and impacting in the nation of babylon in ways the astrologers the sorcerers and the magicians NEVER could

That Godly resolve in our own lives begins with the small things serving God in private with no one looking, when no one is looking will you do what God is asking you to do because he asked….
One of the things we can take away from the early chapters of Daniel and his life, when you Gain victory in the small and private areas of your life, when your resolve grows and with it your obedience to do what he is asking you to do, watch what the Lord can do with that because He can increase in ways you never thought from such a foundation.

Daniel 1:15-21
And at the end of ten days their features appeared better and fatter in flesh than all the young men who ate the portion of the king’s delicacies. 16 Thus [a]the steward took away their portion of delicacies and the wine that they were to drink, and gave them vegetables.
17 As for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom; and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. 18 Now at the end of the days, when the king had said that they should be brought in, the chief of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar. 19 Then the king [b]interviewed them, and among them all none was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; therefore they served before the king. 20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm. 21 Thus Daniel continued until the first year of King Cyrus.

Never underestimate the power of serving God privately and in obscurity because that is an area in our lives where the Lord can condition us to proclaim publicly. You see one of the main issues today in this Amazon 2-day shipping, McDonald's drive-through, Burger King have it your way, Tick Tock virals people DO NOT want to go through the process and the trials privately for the Lord to use them in a greater capacity, they want to leapfrog right into being an influencer when their lives are out of order and a mess and they have attempted to circumvent the process.

For 17 years, I went through this private conditioning and trials before the Lord ever allowed me to speak a word publicly.

God makes it a habit of using the powerless faithful to be positioned and raised up to influence nations.

Joseph a Hebrew sold into slavery by his own brothers, spent 13 years in prison for a crime he did not commit interprets two dreams in prison for the royal cupbearer and baker and 2 years later he stood face to face with Pharaoh and was put 2nd in command because the wisdom in Joseph could not be found in Pharaoh's astrologers, and magicians, Joseph went through that process privately arduously before he was raised up publicly.

The Hebrew midwives in Egypt when Pharaoh gave the orders for all the Jewish baby boys born to be thrown in the Nile, their resolve to save them, their fear of God was greater than Pharaoh's order to kill them. Because of their resolve and faith–a baby named Moses' life was spared and was raised up to deliver 2 million Jews from the wicked oppressive hand of Pharaoh.

In the book of Esther, Mordechai adopts his niece Esther after her parents die and raises her. Esther is positioned by God to enter the palace doors and become Queen. She and Mordechai are positioned when Haman whose lineage comes from the Amalekites manipulates King Ahasuerus into an edict to destroy the Jews on the 13 and 14th of Adar. As this is happening Mordechai sends word to Esther “Do not think if you remain silent you will be spared of what's coming, perhaps you have been brought to the kingdom for such a time as this” Esther and Mordechais resolve delivers a Jewish Nation, destroys Haman and Mordechai is promoted from peasant to prime minister.

These were all examples of those who man perceived as powerless BUT GOD perceived them as faithful and true.

God has the power to take what is insignificant and utilize it for His influence and His Glory. He does this with people that know they belong to HIM.

The level of influence is up to the Lord and what He sees you can bear and handle. God gives what he knows we can handle.

In Daniel 2–Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are in service to the King.
The King has a dream that troubles him and calls all the wise men astrologers.

Daniel 2:4-5 Then the Chaldeans spoke to the king in Aramaic, “O[a] king, live forever! Tell your servants the dream, and we will give the interpretation.” 5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, “My [b]decision is firm: if you do not make known the dream to me, and its interpretation, you shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made an ash heap.
So the King CLEARLY has anger issues and he is testing them because this is revealing as well Nebuchadnezzar is not totally sold on the powers they proclaim to have.

The King gives the order to destroy them all.

Daniel 2:12-18
For this reason the king was angry and very furious, and gave the command to destroy all the wise men of Babylon. 13 So the decree went out, and they began killing the wise men; and they sought Daniel and his companions, to kill them.
God Reveals Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream
14 Then with counsel and wisdom Daniel answered Arioch, the captain of the king’s guard, who had gone out to kill the wise men of Babylon; 15 he answered and said to Arioch the king’s captain, “Why is the decree from the king so [a]urgent?” Then Arioch made the decision known to Daniel. 16 So Daniel went in and asked the king to give him time, that he might tell the king the interpretation. 17 Then Daniel went to his house and made the decision known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, 18 that they might seek mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.

Then with counsel and wisdom, Daniel answered…..

Isaiah 11:2 And the Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him—
The Spirit of Wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and strength,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the [reverential and obedient] fear of the Lord—
In an identity-swallowing culture, In a culture that is hostile to believers Jew and Christian, in a society that more and more teaches the young witchcraft, astrology, and the ways of the dark arts.

The Spirits of Counsel, Wisdom, and Knowledge that come from the Most High God has the authority and power to cut through all that like a double-edged sword and expose TRUTH.

We are in a culture that is identity swallowing, agenda hunting, morality subduing, and hostile to holiness and the things of God.

What was in Daniel NEEDS to in this Season, grow in the Church, in believers The Spirits of Counsel, Wisdom, knowledge, Might Transcends and subdues a hostile culture when the true power of God is demonstrated and operated in.

Exodus 7:12  For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

A demonstration and prophetic ACT that Almighty God was going to swallow up Pharaoh and their culture.

Daniel seeks the Lord, the Lord gives him the dream Nebuchadnezzar had and Daniel speaks it face to face with the King.

Daniel 2:19-23
Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
20 Daniel answered and said:
“Blessed be the name of God forever and ever,
For wisdom and might are His.
21 And He changes the times and the seasons;
He removes kings and raises up kings;
He gives wisdom to the wise
And knowledge to those who have understanding.
22 He reveals deep and secret things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And light dwells with Him.
23 “I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s [a]demand.”

Daniel 2:27-28
Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, “The secret which the king has demanded, the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and the soothsayers cannot declare to the king. 28 But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and He has made known to King Nebuchadnezzar what will be in the latter days. Your dream, and the visions of your head upon your bed, were these:

Daniel proceeds to give the ENTIRE interpretation and details of the dream are disclosed.

Daniel 2:46-49
 Then King Nebuchadnezzar fell on his face, prostrate before Daniel, and commanded that they should present an offering and incense to him. 47 The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.” 48 Then the king promoted Daniel and gave him many great gifts; and he made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief administrator over all the wise men of Babylon. 49 Also Daniel petitioned the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego over the affairs of the province of Babylon; but Daniel sat in [a]the gate of the king.

1 Samuel 17:47
Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.”

Daniel 2:47 The king answered Daniel, and said, “Truly your God is the God of gods, the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, since you could reveal this secret.”

These two scriptures are similar when two men of God were faced with a giant of a problem that threatened their lives, both in a hostile environment to believers, both facing two pagan nations that had an insatiable desire to swallow their culture.

Both David and Daniel act in the wisdom and boldness of the Lord in the midst of hostility and threats and the Lord delivered and promoted them both.

In Daniel 3 after Nebuchadnezzar experiences the power of Almighty God guess what he does, he wants to build a TOWERING image of Himself and glorify himself and lift himself up. This is the issue with an identity-swallowing culture. It is cyclical and they attempt in different ways to continually get you to lay down and surrender your beliefs and resolve in the Lord for THEIR WAY which in never a better way only a treacherous way.

Daniel 3:1-3
Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was [a]sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon. 2 And King Nebuchadnezzar sent word to gather together the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. 3 So the satraps, the administrators, the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered together for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

It was 90 feet high and made of gold in a time of an identity-swallowing culture–in a time Daniel, Shadrach, Misach, and Abednego had to work in a pagan court with astrologers occultists magicians, in a time Babylon was attempting to absorb all the strength of Israel into their culture to assimilate it in order to make Babylon stronger. In a time when Daniel had just operated powerfully in the authority and wisdom of God and not only told Nebuchadnezzar the dream he had BUT interpreted it. In this time when pagan practices and Babylonian culture are INVADING every area of the Jew's lives who are captive, this 90-foot statue happens.

A temple in Fort Bend County is now home to the third-largest statue in the United States.
The Sri Ashtalakshmi Temple dedicated the 90-foot, 90-ton Statue of Union earlier this month. The statue depicts Hanuman, a Hindu deity who helped rescue the kidnapped wife of Rama, another deity and king.

In the 10 years of Joe Biden's reign, they attempted to put Donald Trump in prison.
Zedekiah who Nebuchadnezzar installed ruled 11 years before he was removed. It was in the 11th year of Joe Biden's time in his office he was removed as the nominee for the DNC by the very people who installed him just as Nebuchadnezzar had done with Zedekiah. This removal and fall came after Zedekiah in 10 years attempted to put Jeremiah the prophet in prison for speaking the Truth about his reign and what Babylon was going to do.

Ten generations of man lived on the earth before the flood waters came and swept away all those who were disobedient. Because the earth was filled with Chamas, with violence. In 2023, the 10 years of Joe Biden–Hamas attacks Israel.

December 2023
In the 10th year of Zedekiah, they attempted to lock Jeremiah up. This year is the 10th year Joe Biden has served in high office: 8 years as VP with Obama and now 2 years as a stand-in president, so 10 years.

In the 10th year of Joe Biden, they are attempting to put Donald Trump in prison! This is no coincidence. Zedekiah ultimately fell to Nebuchadnezzar and was removed from kingship, Jeremiah was freed and sent back to his land! So Zedekiah is ultimately removed by the very person that put him in as a leader, disqualifies him as a leader, and removes him by force.

We saw this happen when the very people in his own party who put Joe Biden in office then by force removed him and installed Obama 2.0

Daniel 3:17-18
 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He will rescue us from your hand, O king. 18 But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up!”

Shadrach Misach and Abednego REFUSE to bow to this 90-foot-tall blasphemous creation of Nebuchadnezzars so he orders them bound and thrown in the fire and it made 7 times hotter in
Daniel 3:19

7 times hotter, and the Lord made Nebuchadnezzar live in the field like an animal for 7 years. This is by no mistake because of how hot he made that fire.

7 years separate the time the arch of Baal was planted in NYC before the 2016 election and the time the statue of Ashtoreth was planted atop the NYC courthouse in January 2023 and in that time it has gotten much hotter in the nation it is at a boiling point that is spilling over.
God DELIVERS them for their faithfulness because they would not bow to such an image and would not let the identity-swallowing culture of Babylon consume their faith and resolve in God. MANY Jews bowed to that image believers bowed, part of the church is bowing at the instructions of Babylon however it was the remnant that did a work in that nation, turned the heart of a haughty King and tempered his rath and made him TREMBLE because not even nebuchadnezzar was above the Judgments of Almighty God and neither are the leadership in this time.

I am the Lord you God who stood in the fire with Shadrach, Misach, and Abednego, I am the Lord your God who commanded King Nebuchadnezzar the most powerful king, to live in the field like an animal and eat grass for 7 years until he humbled himself and gave Glory to the Most high God and knew His place. I am the Lord your God who raised a Hebrew boy named Joseph up out of prison to become the second most powerful man in all of Egypt next to Pharaoh, I am the Lord your God who took a shepherd boy named David and slayed a giant, a blasphemous haughty giant, named Goliath, and raised him up to be King of Israel. I am the Lord your God who took a hate-filled Pharisee named Saul and made him a new creation, raised him up as Paul to preach the gospel and write what you call the New Testament. I am the Lord your God who causes the blind to see, the deaf to hear, the lame to walk, who causes axheads to float, who rained down fire upon an altar to demonstrate before the prophets of Baal who truly is GOD, the Most High God. I am the Lord your God who sent My precious son Jesus Christ, who sits at My right HAND, TO BE SACRIFICED FOR THE SINS OF MAN SO THEY WOULD NOT EXPERIENCE ETERNAL SEPARATION FROM ME IF THEY SO CHOOSE because I so loved the world and I love my children and so does My son.
 
I AM and with every word that comes forth from ME, there is a power that can wipe out the entire earth, shatter the stars, create from a void, and cause mountains to spring up in a moment. I am the God who spoke and creation was.

Do you truly think My children that this battle in your nation is beyond Me, is beyond My power? But your faith in ME and MY PLAN, MY TIMING, knowing My power is infinite, and that I sit on the throne as the earth is MY footstool says the Lord of Hosts. Your circumstances and what you face in your lives and in this nation is NOT too difficult for Me, for I am your strong tower and refuge in times of trouble. I am far above every power principality or might. I will keep those in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Me, even in an hour where darkness is making a huge push, where the enemy is attempting a strong advance I the Lord your God have the final WORD, for I laugh at the wicked for they are dust in My SIGHT and their god cannot save them from what is coming upon them in this time, for some will just drop to the ground and be no more as they have touched the little ones, as they have hurt My children for the last time. Confusion a heavy cloud of confusion coming upon leadership and the enemies camp as they fiercely battle each other through such a fog, I the Lord am affecting their sight and perception and they shall destroy their own says the Lord.
